Packing Tips for moving

Packing is one of the most important parts of moving. It's also one of the most annoying. So here are a few tips to make it a little less of a headache!

• Start as soon as possible!  Moving can be stress free if you are prepared • Pack your goods in sealed sturdy boxes.  If your belongings are packed properly, there can be no excuse for damage • Tape the bottoms of the boxes squarely with two overlapping strips of tape exceeding the sides by at least3 inches • Pack fragile and heavy items (dishes, stemware, collectibles, books, canned goods, etc.) in 2 ft. cube boxes • Pack all other goods into

1) Here’s a home remodeling organization tip:If you are being your own General Contractor, keep an expandable folder with individual folders inside for each trade. For example, you could use manila folders labeled “Plumbing”, “Electricity”, "Tile", etc.
